NucPred - Orthologous groups of (predicted) nuclear proteinsThis table gives links to further tables which list orthologous groups of proteins predicted to be nuclear. The idea here is that a nuclear localisation prediction for a protein will be more credible if homologues of that protein in other organisms (which are believed to perform a very similar function) are also predicted to be nuclear. Multiple alignments are also provided to allow a more detailed analysis of the conservation of function across species. We have used the program InParanoid to define orthologous relationships between the human proteome and other proteomes. |
